Our journey began in a rural town near the eastern shores of Wisconsin, where founders Joel and Marilyn worked in construction. When the economy took a downturn, Joel's back problems forced them to reevaluate their careers. That's when they discovered a new passion for working with reclaimed barn wood that eventually led to the creation of Joel's Antiques and Reclaimed Decor.

Our products, like the warm and welcoming Medium Brown Pine shelves and mantels, are made one at a time, the old fashioned way.
